1. Program Overview
The Wonderweb Referral Program allows independent individuals and businesses to earn commission by referring clients to our web design and hosting services. It is a flexible, non-exclusive program designed to empower local promoters, marketers, and resellers to earn income while upholding Wonderweb’s values of professionalism, transparency, and brand integrity.
2. Who Can Join
- Anyone in Zimbabwe (or beyond) interested in digital marketing and earning commission.
- No formal qualifications required.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and operate with integrity.
- Must adhere to all policies outlined in this document.
- All agents must be formally approved by Wonderweb Technologies before submitting referrals.
Note: Submitting leads or representing Wonderweb without prior approval is strictly prohibited.
3. Commission Structure
Agents earn $15–$20 per confirmed client, depending on the referred package.
3.1 Eligible Package
- Up to 10 website pages
- Free .co.zw domain
- 1 year of web hosting
- Unlimited email accounts
3.2 Commission Payout
Once Wonderweb receives full payment from the client, your commission will be paid within 24–48 hours via EcoCash or bank transfer.
3.3 Direct Referral Rule
Agents earn commission only for clients they directly refer to Wonderweb Technologies. If a client you referred later refers another client, you will not earn any commission on that subsequent referral. Commission is granted only when the referred client comes directly from you. This ensures fairness, transparency, and clear attribution of rewards to the agent responsible for generating the original lead.
3.4 Reinforcement of Direct Referral Rule
The Wonderweb Referral Program is a single-tier system. Commissions are not transferable, shareable, or extended to clients referred by your referrals. Only the agent who officially hands over the client’s details with consent is recognized as the referral source. This protects agents from disputes and ensures rewards are allocated fairly.
3.5 Multiple Purchases by the Same Client
If an agent refers a client who purchases more than one service or website package, the agent is eligible to earn a separate commission for each qualifying purchase. Each package must be distinct and fully paid. Commissions are not cumulative on one package but apply separately to multiple purchases.
Practical Examples:
- Scenario 1: Agent A refers Client B → Agent A earns commission.
- Scenario 2: Client B refers Client C → Agent A earns nothing; Client B must join as an agent to earn.
- Scenario 3: Client B buys 2 websites → Agent A earns 2 separate commissions.
- Scenario 4: Agent A and Agent D both claim the same client → Commission goes to the agent who first submitted with proof.
4. Referral Process
As a referral agent, your role is to introduce our services to potential clients using your own branding and communication channels. Once a lead expresses interest, the handover process begins:
- You promote Wonderweb services under your own brand identity (see Section 5).
- If a client is interested, request permission to share their contact details with Wonderweb.
- Forward the client’s name and phone number via WhatsApp or email.
- Wonderweb will handle consultation, payment, and service delivery.
- Once payment is confirmed, you receive commission within 24–48 hours.
Note: All referrals must be with client consent. Sharing details without permission may result in suspension.
4.1 Referral Attribution Policy (7-Day Rule)
We use a 7-day attribution window to ensure fairness:
- If a client first engages Wonderweb directly (via website, WhatsApp, or ads), that interaction is the primary source for 7 days.
- If the same client interacts with a referral agent within those 7 days, commission does not apply to the agent.
- After 7 days, if the client engages via a referral agent, the commission will be credited to that agent.
5. Branding & Advertising Guidelines
What You Are NOT Allowed to Do:
- Do not pose as Wonderweb staff or present yourself as an employee.
- Do not advertise yourself using the name “Wonderweb Technologies.”
- Do not send or post Wonderweb’s official flyers, logos, or branding as your own.
- Do not quote prices above $80 while using Wonderweb’s name.
- Do not promise services that Wonderweb does not offer.
- Do not use Wonderweb’s portfolio as your own. If shared, clearly state: “These websites were designed by Wonderweb Technologies, my design partner.”
What You Should Do:
- Operate under your own brand name.
- If you don’t have branding, Wonderweb will help you create one.
- Use your custom referral flyer provided by Wonderweb.
- Present Wonderweb as your back-end design partner.
6. Client Handover Procedure
When the client is ready, use a clear handover message such as:
“I’m now handing you over to my web design partner, Wonderweb Technologies. They’ll take care of your website and provide full support. I’ll still be here if you need any help.”
From this point, Wonderweb takes over all communication, design, and service delivery.
7. Code of Conduct
Agents must:
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Avoid false promises, inaccurate claims, or pressure tactics.
- Respect client privacy and obtain consent before referrals.
- Represent their own brand transparently.
Failure to comply may result in:
- Termination of referral code.
- Suspension from the program.
- Withholding of commissions.
8. Support from Wonderweb
- Assistance in choosing your brand name.
- A personalized flyer designed for you.
- Referral tracking and commission updates.
- Ongoing support via WhatsApp or email.
9. Termination
Wonderweb reserves the right to:
- Suspend or terminate agents who breach this policy.
- Refuse commissions for fraudulent or misrepresented referrals.
- Update this policy at any time with notice.
