Important Legal Agreements

WonderWeb Technologies provides web hosting, web design, email hosting, and domain registration services to clients worldwide. We are committed to protecting each client and delivering the best services available. All clients of WonderWeb Technologies are subject to the following terms of service:

Billing & Refunds

Services offered by WonderWeb Technologies do not have any refund policy due to the nature of the hosting industry and the costs involved in provisioning and maintaining your service.

We accept various payment methods, including:

  • Ecocash
  • PayPal (MasterCard, Visa etc)
  • InnBucks

There are no minimum contract periods for any plans. All sales are final, and we are unable to offer refunds for any disputes. It is your responsibility to evaluate our services during the validity period you purchase.

Acceptable Usage Policy

A. Examples of unacceptable material include, but are not limited to:

  • IRC Bots
  • Proxy Scripts
  • Anonymizers
  • Pirated Software
  • Warez
  • Image hosting only sites that do not host actual domain content
  • Escrow
  • High-Yield Interest Programs (HYIP)
  • Lottery sites
  • Hate sites
  • Hacker-focused sites
  • Sites promoting illegal activities
  • File hosting

B. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Any material deemed obscene or threatening will be removed from our servers with or without notice. Failure to respond to emails from our abuse department within 48 hours may result in suspension or termination of your services.

C. Potential harm to minors is strictly forbidden, including but not limited to child pornography. Any site found to host or link to child pornography will be terminated immediately without notice, and we will report this to the appropriate authorities.

D. For direct customers, services will be terminated with or without notice for violations. Violations will be reported to the appropriate law enforcement agency.

E. It is your responsibility to ensure that scripts/programs installed under your account are secure and directory permissions are set appropriately. Set permissions on directories to 755 or as restrictive as possible.

Zero Tolerance Spam Policy

A. We take a zero-tolerance stance against sending unsolicited email, bulk emailing, and spam. “Safe lists” and “double opt-in” methods will be treated as spam. Any user who sends spam will have their account terminated with or without notice.

B. Sending bulk emails is not allowed on our server. Each cPanel account may send a maximum of 100 emails. If any account appears to be spamming, it will be suspended with or without notice.

C. Any mailing list larger than 5,000 requires a dedicated hosting solution. Dividing a large list into smaller lists to circumvent this limit is prohibited.

D. You must throttle your emails when sending messages, sending at least one email every six seconds. Failure to throttle may result in suspension for causing high server load.

E. You are not allowed to email a purchased mailing list. This constitutes spamming and will result in account termination.

Backups and Data Loss

Your use of the services rendered is at your sole risk. Wonderweb Technologies is not responsible for files and/or data residing on your account. You agree to take full responsibility for files and data transferred and to maintain all appropriate backups of files and data stored on our servers. Your server may or may not have automatic backups installed, which are generally done on Sundays. Daily/Weekly backups we offer are complementary; therefore, please maintain a copy of your files for safety purposes.

Cancellations and Refunds

WonderWeb Technologies reserves the right to cancel any account at any time with or without notice. Any abuse of our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, or Privacy Policy will result in suspension or termination of your services. Customers may cancel at any time via a written cancellation request to our account services support department. Domain name purchases/renewals are non-refundable. All purchases are final.

Resource Usage (Not Allowed)

A. Customers may not use 25% or more of system resources for longer than 90 seconds. Numerous activities could cause such issues, including:

  • CGI scripts
  • FTP
  • PHP
  • HTTP

B. No account is allowed to use average system resources (CPU, RAM, MySQL) more than 2% in a 24-hour cycle.

C. Running interactive real-time chat applications requiring server resources is not permitted. Remotely-hosted services are allowed.

D. Running stand-alone, unattended server-side processes at any time on the server is prohibited, including any and all daemons.

E. Running software that interfaces with an IRC network is not allowed.

F. Participating in file-sharing or peer-to-peer activities is prohibited.

G. Running gaming servers such as Counter-Strike, Half-Life, or Battlefield is not permitted.

H. Running cron entries with intervals of less than 15 minutes is not allowed.

I. Media hosting (e.g., audio, video), backup hosting, adult content hosting, and online forums are strictly prohibited.

Migration Terms

Our Transfers Team will make every effort to assist you in moving your website to us; however, transfers are provided as a courtesy service. We do not guarantee availability, possibility, or time required to complete an account transfer. Each hosting company is configured differently, and some platforms save data in incompatible or proprietary formats, making it challenging to migrate account data. The free transfer service is available for thirty (30) days from your sign-up date. Transfers beyond this period will incur a charge.

In no event shall WonderWeb Technologies be held liable for any lost or missing data or files resulting from a transfer to or from our services. You are solely responsible for backing up your data in all circumstances.

. Unlimited Storage – Fair Usage Policy

While WonderWeb Technologies offers “unlimited” storage as part of our hosting packages, this is subject to reasonable and fair usage limitations to ensure optimal performance for all customers.

Storage Usage Guidelines

1. Primary Purpose: Unlimited storage is provided for normal website operation, including:

  • Website files and databases
  • Email storage
  • Legitimate website content and media

2. Prohibited Uses: Storage may not be used for:

  • File archiving or backup storage
  • Media libraries not linked to active website content
  • Cloud storage purposes
  • Mass file distribution (file sharing, torrents, etc.)
  • Personal file storage unrelated to your website

Fair Usage Limits

1. Account Review: Accounts using more than 50GB of storage may be subject to review. We may request justification for storage usage patterns.

2. Content Requirements: At least 90% of your stored files must be directly linked to and accessible through your active website.

3. Inactive Files: Files not accessed or modified for more than 12 months may be archived or removed after notification.

Violation Consequences

1. Notice & Correction: If your usage exceeds fair limits, we will notify you and provide 7 days to correct the issue.

2. Remedial Options: You may be required to:

  • Upgrade to a higher-tier plan
  • Migrate to a VPS/dedicated server
  • Reduce your storage footprint

3. Suspension: Accounts that don’t comply with fair usage policies after notification may be temporarily suspended until the issue is resolved.

Our Commitment

We implement these policies not to limit legitimate use, but to:

  • Ensure server stability for all customers
  • Maintain high performance standards
  • Prevent abuse that could degrade service quality

These policies apply equally to all customers and are enforced at our discretion based on actual impact to our infrastructure.

Other Terms

1. Uptime: The uptime of a server is defined as the reported uptime from the operating system, which may differ from uptime reported by individual services. We cannot guarantee 100% uptime due to factors including software updates, malicious activities, hardware failure, and acts of God.

2. Client Responsibility: Direct clients of Wonderweb Technologies are responsible for their accounts. Any abuse by your clients will be your responsibility.

3. Price Change: The amount you pay for hosting will not increase during the term of your contract (if applicable). We reserve the right to change prices for services and resources at any time.

4. Disclaimer: Wonderweb Technologies shall not be responsible for any damages your business may suffer. We make no warranties of any kind for our services and disclaim any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

5. Disclosure to Law Enforcement: We may disclose any subscriber information to law enforcement agencies upon lawful request. We will cooperate fully with such agencies.

Fair Usage Policy

1. Unlimited Resources: Unlimited disk space and bandwidth mean there are no set limits on our packages. However, we require compliance with our Fair Usage Policy. Unacceptable use includes:

  • Large file storage
  • Downloads that threaten performance for other customers

2. Disk Space: Unlimited disk space is for hosting websites, not for cloud storage or backups. For storage, you must use a VPS or Dedicated Server.

3. Resource Allocation: Each cPanel will be allocated 100% CPU, RAM up to 2GB, and IOPS up to 2GB. If an account exceeds fair usage, it may be suspended.

4. Abuse Fees: Accounts that repeatedly violate terms may incur a security fee of $20 (non-refundable) for reactivation.

5. Late Fees: A late fee of 10% will be added for any invoice not paid by the due date.

6. Suspension Timeline: Accounts will be suspended on the 5th day past due and terminated on the 8th day. We are not responsible for data loss.

7. Automatic Deletion: If an account is not paid after 180 days, our system will automatically delete it without notification.

8. Shared Hosting Limits: Accounts exceeding 10GB in email/database usage may need to migrate to appropriate hosting plans.

9. Policy Changes: We reserve the right to change our policies at any time without notification. Clients should regularly check for updates.
