Wonderweb Technologies Resource Usage Policy
Last Updated: 30/04/2026
To ensure stable and fair performance for all customers, each hosting plan has defined resource limits. This policy applies to shared web hosting and reseller hosting plans (excluding VPS/dedicated servers). By using our sites (www.wonderweb.host or www.wonderweb.co.zw), you agree to this policy.
Table of Contents
- 1. Allocated Resources per Plan
- 2. Unlimited Features – Fair Use
- 3. Monitoring & Enforcement
- 4. Prohibited Resource Abuse
1. Allocated Resources per Plan
The following limits apply to each hosting plan:
Shared Web Hosting
| Plan Name | CPU (Cores) | RAM | I/O (MB/s) | IOPS |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dollar Host | 1.5 | 2 GB | 100 | 25,000 |
| Starter Spark | 1.5 | 2 GB | 100 | 25,000 |
| Turbo Glide | 1.5 | 2 GB | 100 | 25,000 |
| Ultimate Universe | 1.5 | 2 GB | 100 | 25,000 |
Note: All shared plans share the same resource allocation as per our infrastructure. Higher‑tier plans provide more NVMe storage, domains, and email accounts but the same core CPU/RAM allocation.
Reseller Hosting (per cPanel account created by reseller)
| Component | Allocation |
|---|---|
| CPU | 1.5 cores |
| RAM | 5 GB |
| I/O | 100 MB/s |
| IOPS | 25,000 |
Legend:
- CPU – Number of processor cores allocated
- RAM – Physical memory available for your applications
- I/O – Disk read/write speed on NVMe SSD
- IOPS – Number of input/output operations per second
2. Unlimited Features – Fair Use
Plans that advertise “unlimited” (e.g., unlimited domains, email accounts, bandwidth) are subject to reasonable fair use. Examples of acceptable and unacceptable usage:
- Acceptable: A growing e‑commerce site with many products, a blog with thousands of visitors, a reseller managing many client accounts within plan limits.
- Unacceptable: Using your hosting as a file backup service, mass file distribution (torrents), media libraries not linked to active web pages, cloud storage for personal files.
If your usage exceeds 50 GB of storage, we may review your account. You may be asked to reduce usage or upgrade to a higher plan.
3. Monitoring & Enforcement
We continuously monitor server resources. If your account consistently uses near or above the allocated CPU, RAM, I/O, or IOPS for extended periods, we will:
- Contact you via email or WhatsApp to suggest optimizations or an upgrade.
- If no improvement is made, we may limit your account’s resources to the defined allocation.
- Repeated abuse may lead to suspension.
You can monitor your own usage in cPanel under Resource Usage section.
4. Prohibited Resource Abuse
The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension:
- Running cryptocurrency miners of any kind.
- Running open mail relays or spam email campaigns.
- Participating in DDoS attacks or malicious network activity.
- Running gaming servers (Counter‑Strike, Minecraft, etc.).
- Cron jobs with intervals of less than 15 minutes.
- Running stand‑alone daemons or background processes that are not part of your website.
