1. Purpose
This policy makes the website delivery process transparent and predictable. You must read and understand it before requesting services.
2. Website Delivery Timeline
Our delivery timelines are targets, not binding deadlines. We are not obligated to meet them, and delays do not entitle you to any remedy or compensation.
Standard Package ($45)
We aim to deliver within 3 business days after receiving all required content and deposit ($10).
Premium Package ($100)
We aim to deliver within 5 business days after receiving all required content and deposit ($30).
Enterprise Package ($350)
We aim to deliver within 14 business days or less after receiving all required content and deposit ($100).
Larger or Complex Projects (Custom Quote)
Delivery timeline is agreed individually and stated in your quotation.
Content Submission Cutoff
Any content (text, images, logos, videos) submitted after 11:30 AM is considered received the next business day.
3. Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing all required content (text, images, logos, videos) in the formats we specify (e.g., JPG, PNG).
- Responding to requests for feedback or approval within 24 hours. Failure to do so may extend the timeline.
- Being financially ready to pay upon delivery. Do not request a website unless you are prepared to complete payment.
4. Wonderweb Responsibilities
- We deliver a professionally designed, functional website according to the package you select.
- We communicate as needed – you are not required to check in before the delivery timeline.
- If essential content is missing, we may use AI‑generated or stock content. We may lightly edit text and images for presentation.
5. Backup & Website Management
If we design and host your website: We manage your site, perform updates, and create backups as part of the service. You are not required to perform these tasks.
If you are a hosting‑only client (no web design service): You are solely responsible for your own backups, updates, and maintenance. Our Backup Policy applies.
6. Payment & Late Penalty
When we deliver your website on our demo domain (yourcompany.demo.wonderweb.co.zw), full payment is due immediately. We do not create your live hosting account before receiving full payment.
Deposit requirements:
- Standard Package: $10 deposit
- Premium Package: $30 deposit
- Enterprise Package: $100 deposit
The deposit confirms your project and is non‑refundable if you cancel after work has begun.
Grace period: You have 3 days from delivery to pay the remaining balance without penalty.
Late penalty: If you do not pay within 3 days, a penalty of $1 per day applies until the total penalty reaches $10. Your website remains on the demo domain during this period.
Cancellation and deposit forfeiture: If the penalty reaches $10 and you still have not paid, we cancel the project. Your deposit is forfeited. If you later want to restart the same project, you must pay the full amount upfront. We are not obligated to accept a second deposit.
7. Revisions & Changes
We assume you act as a reasonable person. We do not set a fixed revision limit – we make reasonable changes as needed. However:
- If we determine that change requests are unnecessary, excessive, or abusive, we may charge you for additional work.
- Minor content changes (e.g., adding a new team member, changing company name, updating a product or service) are included for all packages.
- Replacing AI‑generated or stock content with your own content is additional work and we may charge you for it.
8. Ownership & Footer Credit
After full payment, you own the final website design and code. However, this ownership does not grant you the right to claim the work as originally yours. Wonderweb retains the following rights:
- We may reuse the same code, templates, and design patterns for other projects.
- We may display screenshots and live links of your website in our portfolio and marketing materials.
- We require a footer credit on your website stating “Website designed by Wonderweb Technologies” (or similar phrasing).
Removing the footer credit: You may remove it by paying a $20 fee. Even after removal, we retain the right to use your website in our portfolio and marketing. You are prohibited from placing any footer claiming you built the website. Violation of these terms is taken seriously and may result in legal action.
9. Browser & Device Compatibility
All websites are fully responsive and work on desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. We test on major browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Brave, and Phoenix. Minor appearance differences due to screen size, resolution, operating system, or browser settings are normal and do not constitute a defect.
