1. Program Overview
The Wonderweb Referral Program permits independent individuals and businesses to earn commission by referring web design clients to us. This program is non‑exclusive. Referral of hosting‑only clients does not earn commission.
2. Who Can Join
Any person or business may apply. Approval is required before submitting referrals. You must:
- Communicate clearly and act with integrity.
- Comply with all provisions in this policy.
You are not permitted to submit leads or represent Wonderweb without our prior written approval.
3. Commission Structure
Commission is paid only for referred clients who purchase a web design package, after Wonderweb receives full payment from the client.
- Standard Package ($45) → $5 USD commission
- Premium Package ($100) → $10 USD commission
- Enterprise Package ($350) → $35 USD commission
Custom quotations (projects outside these packages) do not earn commission unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Commission Payout
Within 24–48 hours after we receive full payment from the client, we pay commission via EcoCash or bank transfer.
Direct Referral Rule
Commission applies only to clients you directly refer. You are not entitled to commission on any subsequent referrals made by your referred client.
Single‑Tier System
This program is single‑tier. You may not transfer or share your commission rights.
Multiple Purchases
If a referred client purchases more than one website (e.g., Standard and Premium, or Premium and Enterprise), you earn commission for each qualifying package (e.g., $5 + $10 = $15; or $10 + $35 = $45).
No Commission for Hosting‑Only Referrals
You are not entitled to any commission for referring a client who purchases only hosting services.
4. Referral Process
You must follow this process:
- Promote our web design services under your own brand. You are not permitted to use our brand name in your promotions.
- Obtain written (including WhatsApp) consent from the client before sharing their details.
- Send the client’s name and phone number to us via WhatsApp or email.
- We handle all consultations, proposals, and payments.
- After we receive full payment from the client, we pay your commission.
You are prohibited from sharing client details without their prior consent.
7‑Day Attribution Rule
“Engages” means the client has spoken to us directly about the website they want (via WhatsApp, email, or phone).
- If a client first engages us directly, that interaction is primary for 7 days.
- If the client engages you within those 7 days, you are not entitled to commission.
- After 7 days, commission applies if the client engages through you.
Fraudulent Referrals (Examples)
The following actions are strictly prohibited and result in no commission, immediate suspension, and possible legal action:
- Submitting fake leads (names or contacts of people who have not consented or do not exist).
- Self‑referrals (referring yourself or your own business).
- Re‑submitting a lead that already contacted us directly.
- Sharing client details without explicit consent.
5. Branding & Advertising Guidelines
You are not permitted to:
- Present yourself as Wonderweb staff.
- Use the name “Wonderweb Technologies” in your own branding, domain, or social media handles.
- Repost our flyers, logos, or marketing materials as your own.
- Promise any service that we do not officially offer.
- Discuss our internal policies or processes as if you represent us.
You are permitted to:
- Operate under your own brand.
- Use referral flyers and materials we provide specifically for agents.
- Describe Wonderweb as your “design partner”.
- Clearly state that Wonderweb delivers the services, not you.
6. Client Handover Procedure
You must use the following exact wording when handing over a client:
“I’m now handing you over to my web design partner, Wonderweb Technologies. They will handle your website and provide full support.”
After you send this message, you must not continue to communicate with the client about project specifics unless we invite you. All further communication is between us and the client.
7. Code of Conduct
You must:
- Communicate professionally and respectfully.
- Avoid any false or misleading claims about our services or your relationship with us.
- Respect client privacy – never share their information without consent.
- Represent only your own brand, not ours.
Violation of this code is grounds for immediate termination and forfeiture of any unpaid commissions.
8. Support from Wonderweb
We provide:
- Guidance on brand compliance (we will advise you, but you remain responsible).
- Custom referral materials (flyers, templates).
- Referral tracking.
- WhatsApp and email support for agents.
9. Termination
We may terminate your participation at any time without prior notice if:
- You breach any provision of this policy.
- You engage in fraudulent conduct.
- You misrepresent our brand.
Upon termination, you forfeit any unpaid commissions for referrals that have not yet resulted in client payment.
10. Taxes
We do not currently withhold or pay taxes on commissions. You are solely responsible for declaring and paying any taxes applicable to your earnings. We recommend consulting a tax professional.
